PRESIDENT

My name is Jinmoo Yoo, a junior at Hanoi International School, and it is my honor to welcome you to Plastic Free HIS as the President.

In the past few years, our world was presented with various problems: namely, the alarming impacts of climate change. Climate change is the most pressing issue that must be addressed within the next decade. It is our utmost responsibility to prevent further damage caused by waste pollution.

Vietnam is an amazing starting point as plastic waste can be seen everywhere. Furthermore, many burn plastics as means of disposing of them. We must bring a change into our local community and spread awareness in regards to this issue. Most importantly, we must start acting rather than talking.
